My experiences of being photographed always included awkward moments and poses, Wrong! It’s time to celebrate! I may be your photographer but I don’t want awkward moments or pictures any more than you do. My engagement sessions are more of a break from life, in a fun or beautiful setting, where you two can relax and enjoy each others company. Then POOF! Excellent pictures :) This is also a great time for me to get to know you, your taste and what you expect from me.
Brides, this is your day! This is a great dress rehersal opportunity! Not only do you get to preview what it will feel like to be “the bride” you get to test drive your dress, shoes, make up, hairstyle, bouquet and smile. I would highly recommend having your hair and makeup done by the person that will be doing them at your wedding. That way if something needs to be changed you will have plenty of time to do so. I would also advise bringing a comfortable pair of sandals or shoes. Most importantly, bring someone who makes you feel comfortable (they are great for carrying your stuff, he he)
There are so many things you can worry about on your wedding day. Please don’t let your wedding photography be one of them. I always show up early. I have the best equipment and back ups of everything. I have already worried about your photography so you don’t have to. You have done all the hard work now go surround yourself with family and friends and enjoy your day!
